I've experienced the death of someone very close to me quite recently as well. This song really does draw the emotion out of me. Thank you for playing this wonderful piece.
Ten out of ten, without a second thought.

I must admit my friend, you have really stepped up onto the pedestal of the pros. This song takes you on a journey, to put it simply. This piece is flawless. Completely flawless. You have every note perfectly placed, and every rest put into effect just right. I'm aspiring to pick up this line of work, and someday I hope to be able to compose a piece this magnificent. Two thumbs up. Keep up the great work.

I myself am also aspiring to pick up this line of work, haha. Good luck to us both, and thanks for the extremely kind review!

Hey there, it's been quite a long time since I've last reviewed one of your pieces, where should I begin?
This song has a unique feel to it. The scene you laid out in the comment plays out flawlessly in my mind. Something else also comes to mind, a scene that switches from one point of view to another.
The beginning is a man walking along a path, and he stumbles upon a small village, undisturbed, and celebrating.
Next is the hammers of men building a camp nearby, the same man that witnessed the celebration is now trying to capture the village, but he has flashbacks of his past as they draw near.
The vocals show the man when he was injured, and the villagers took him in as one of their own. The hammers are constantly breaking his concentration, but then he recalls the night after his stay in the village...
The small army trying to capture the village draws nearer, until the man points in another direction. They all proceed to follow along with his word, and they are led off to somewhere else. Meanwhile, the village is left peaceful and untouched, for all time.
Haha, well, that's just what comes into my mind of course. Five out of five, ten out of ten, three thumbs up. However you'd like to express it, it's an amazing song. Keep up the amazing work.

First off, you deserve an applause for playing at such a speed. Quite outstanding really. *Claps*
The song itself is amazing too, the mood certainly does have a unique feel to it. The change at 1:20 and the finale just blows me away. A well deserved ten out of ten for you my friend.

The song is amazing, hands down. But it sounds as if your searching for something at first, then you gradually realize what you'd been looking for was inside you the entire time.
The chords are outstanding, and the flute, well, nothing like a flute to emphasize the beauty of memories, well done, well done.
I'm sorry about the loss you must have sustained to have delved this deep into your own soul for this music. Thank you for sharing this amazing piece. Easily a ten out of ten.

I love the positive feeling you get from this piece, it's as if it's trying to tell you not to give up hope. It's as if it's playing out someones life, somewhat sad, happy, and then sad once more before death, maybe it's just me, who knows? Ten out of ten.

I'm sure this version is just as good, if not better. The only thing that worries me is the pause at 0:55 that lasts until 0:58, I can't tell if it was desired or not. Overall an amazing piece, keep it up, and never fool yourself, if you don't push your song forward, then nobody else will. Ten out of ten.
